Bucksmore's Young Professionals Theatre and Performing Arts summer camp in London is a two-week residential programme taught by West End professionals. The course develops students' acting, singing, dancing and stagecraft through practical workshops (including stage combat, puppetry, audition masterclasses and acting for camera), ensemble projects and excursions to West End shows.
Students live in university accommodation at King's College London, receive 25 tuition hours per week, attend 2 full-day and 1 half-day excursions per week, and take part in a capstone industry project culminating in a final performance and award ceremony. The course aims to build creativity, confidence, teamwork and English language fluency in a supportive international environment.
The programme is aimed at high-school-aged students (13-17) with minimum English level B1. Fees are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, excursions, materials and some transfers; flights and visas are excluded.
Applications are made via Bucksmore's online application process and a £500 reservation fee is required to secure a place.
