Opportunity shouldn't depend on luck.

Too many young people miss out on life changing opportunities, because they don't know they exist. Let's stop luck determining futures.

We are the New Youth Social Media, connecting young people to opportunities from summer schools, internships and apprenticeships to essay competitions. Because students deserve fair access regardless of background, school, or network.

Hi, I'm Izzy and like many young people, I am frustrated.

I am frustrated when opportunities close before I hear about them. I missed out on work experience, summer programmes, and even a subject taster day for my dream university — despite always trying to stay informed.

After my GCSEs, I was lucky enough to win an incredible scholarship that shaped my entrepreneurial mindset. But when I arrived, I realised something unsettling: the programme was dominated by independent school students. I couldn't stop thinking about the students who would have jumped at this chance, if only they'd known it existed.

That's when it hit me: access to opportunity often comes down to chance, connections, or a parent clicking the right link at the right time. And that isn't fair.

So, together with my dad, Richard Aukland, we decided to do something about it. Combining his experience in computing with my lived frustration, we created JutJut.

This is just the beginning.
