This is a 4-year Level 6 degree apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering delivered with the University of Warwick and hosted by Thales UK in Manor Royal, Crawley. As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) apprentice you will spend most of your time working on the job within the Services function, getting hands-on experience across supportability analysis, technical documentation, data collection and management, spare parts and supply support, training support and maintenance strategy.
The role requires collaboration with systems, safety, software and hardware teams and involves stakeholder communication and continuous professional development.
The apprenticeship combines workplace learning with a blended academic programme: time on campus at Warwick, online teaching (live and recorded) and workplace activities. You will be enrolled on the Applied Professional Engineering Degree (Level 6), given dedicated study time (including Fridays for study), and follow the Electrical/Electronic Technical Support Apprenticeship standard.
The programme includes professional and technical modules such as FMEA, LORA, RAM studies, technical documentation, project management and quality assurance.
Practical details: the role is full-time (37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, shifts to be confirmed), starts on 7 September 2026, and offers a salary of £24,000 per year plus company benefits. Training provider: The University of Warwick.
