This immersive 32-day pre-college summer program at UCLA is designed for ambitious high school students (ages 14-17) looking to experience college life while taking tailored academic courses. Mornings and afternoons feature subject-focused classes such as Sports Management and Business/Entrepreneurship, taught by university-level faculty and local professionals.
The program includes workshops, campus tours and college-preparation activities, and participants earn a certificate of completion and can request letters of recommendation. Participants live in UCLA suite-style residence halls, enjoy supervised access to UCLA athletic facilities, and take part in organised excursions across Los Angeles (including Hollywood, Universal Studios and Santa Monica).
The program culminates with an 11-day Hawaii extension visiting Maui and Oahu with private motor coach travel and hotel accommodation. Travel arrangements include optional chaperoned flights from the New York area and transfers; an additional $850 USD internal-flights fee covers travel between Los Angeles and Hawaii and inter-island flights.
Booking requires a deposit and completion of an enrolment form; final confirmation and balance payment are required before travel.
