Dukes Plus Computer Science Summer School

Dukes Plus Computer Science Summer School is an immersive summer programme in London for students who want to explore computer science as both a university subject and a future career. Participants work on practical projects and gain insight into the day-to-day work of computer scientists through hands-on learning and coaching from industry professionals.

The programme includes activities such as app design, robotics, game development, 3D modelling, and building projects in a Game Jam. Students also visit leading tech-related sites in London, including a state-of-the-art motion capture studio, and have the chance to network with professionals working in the industry.

Alongside technical challenges, the summer school offers career coaching and guidance on university choices and routes into the field. Students attend the programme on the UCL campus in London, where they experience a university environment and can also choose to pursue a UCAS-accredited qualification.
