Want retail experience that actually matters? Join St Peter's Hospice as a Fishponds shop floor volunteer: serve customers, run the till, create displays and boost your CV while supporting local care and sustainable fashion. Gain real skills and connections.

St Peter's Hospice runs charity shops that raise significant funds to support local patient care and services. Volunteering at the Fishponds shop contributes directly to this work and supports sustainable fashion by keeping items in circulation rather than going to landfill.

This is a customer-facing retail role based at the Fishponds shop on the High Street. Typical duties include serving customers and operating the till, creating window and shop displays, maintaining stock presentation and merchandising, restocking rails with processed donations, accepting donations and processing gift-aid, and opportunities to work in the back office sorting donations for the shop floor.

The store address is 737 Fishponds Road, Fishponds, Bristol, BS16 3UP. Volunteers should be enthusiastic, reliable and able to work as part of a team or independently. The role is flexible around other commitments but ideally requires a minimum of 2-3 hours per week.

Volunteering offers practical retail experience, local community links and transferable skills useful for CVs and future work.
