Produmax runs a comprehensive apprenticeship programme in engineering, manufacturing and aerospace. Apprentices split their time between on-the-job training (around 80%) and classroom-based theory and practical learning (around 20%), earn while they learn, and gain a nationally recognised qualification on completion.
The programme is designed to prepare participants for careers in high-precision engineering and related industries. The Apprentice Open Morning gives prospective applicants and their supporters a chance to tour the facility, watch practical demonstrations, and speak with experienced trainers and the apprenticeship team.
The event is informal and aimed at helping you understand life as an engineer and what the apprenticeship involves so you can decide whether to pursue this career pathway. When: Saturday 28 February at Unit 2, Sapper Jordan Rossi Park, Otley Road, Baildon.
