Join Vintage Inns (part of Mitchells & Butlers) as a Chef Apprentice based at the Bakers Arms in Poole. This apprenticeship is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen where you will learn to prepare and cook to business standards, follow recipes, maintain kitchen hygiene and support service delivery.
You will work approximately 30 hours per week on shift patterns that include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This position leads to a Production Chef Level 2 apprenticeship (Chef Academy) and includes a mixture of on-the-job and off-the-job training, workshops, webinars, regular progress reviews and functional skills in English and maths if required.
The training provider is LIFETIME TRAINING GROUP LIMITED. The role includes employer benefits such as a pension, 28 days holiday, staff discounts across Mitchells & Butlers brands, and opportunities for further funded qualifications.
Wages are paid hourly (16-20-year-olds: £8. 60/hr; 21+ year-olds: £11. 44/hr).
The apprenticeship starts on 23 February 2026 and runs for approximately 15 months, providing practical kitchen experience and a funded qualification to help progress a career in hospitality.
