Siemens Energy is recruiting an Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician Apprentice (Level 3) to join their Newcastle upon Tyne site. As an apprentice you will work as part of a fast-paced team providing technical assistance across processes and procedures, learning to read and interpret technical information and using software to produce reports and documentation.
Daily responsibilities include interacting with engineers, project managers, customers, suppliers and quality auditors to support the delivery of high-quality products and services. This is a four-year paid apprenticeship where you will earn a salary while completing a structured training programme.
Your training begins with a Level 2 NVQ Foundation qualification at the company Training Centre, alongside day-release study for a Level 3 BTEC at college. You will progress to complete a Level 3 NVQ and undertake a series of work placements within the business to support your development toward the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
