Join weekly volunteer gardening sessions at Walpole Park run by Ealing Leisure and Parks Service. Sessions take place every Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00-12:00 and are suitable for people who enjoy working outdoors.
You don’t need to commit to coming every week-attend when it suits you. New volunteers must book an induction before taking part; to arrange this contact parks@ealing. gov.
uk. Meet in the Rickyard courtyard (courtyard entrance to the right of the public toilets). Tasks are adapted to abilities-for example, there are six raised beds for volunteers who find bending or kneeling difficult.
Gloves and tools are provided. Volunteers should wear clothes suitable for gardening and weather conditions and wear sturdy shoes or boots for safety. For more information visit http://www.
