Rathbones Apprentice Academy

Rathbones Apprentice Academy is a two-year Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship based at Rathbones' office in London. Apprentices rotate through multiple teams across the business (for example Operations, People, Marketing, Investment Management and Financial Planning) to gain hands-on administrative and client-service experience while studying towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification delivered by BPP PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION LIMITED.

The programme includes structured on-the-job learning, mentoring and opportunities to network with industry trainees and apprentices through the Investment 20/20 programme. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas and minutes, document and records management, updating CRM systems, compiling data for reports, supporting client service teams, and identifying process improvements.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (35 hours per week). Apprentices will spend time in specialist training and are expected to dedicate around 6 hours per week of paid time to study, with additional study outside working hours as required.

Applicants must hold five GCSEs at grades 9-4 (including English). A-levels at BBB are desirable where applicable. No prior industry experience is required; Rathbones seeks organised, proactive candidates who are open to learning.
