This Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship with Irwin Mitchell places you within the finance, risk and procurement team where you'll gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, fast-paced central support function. Day-to-day duties include data entry, reporting, sales and purchase ledger processing, financial controls, bank reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
You will rotate through various finance teams and work under supervision to process transactions, assist with month end reporting and support treasury and reconciliation tasks. The apprenticeship includes off-the-job specialist training delivered by DAMAR LIMITED toward the Assistant Accountant (Level 3) standard and the AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
The role is full time (35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00) and the programme length is 1 year 6 months. Benefits include paid holidays, pension provision, volunteering days, health scheme membership and wellbeing initiatives.
