25-0210 Mechatronics Maintenance Apprentice - Hydramatic Source & Supply Limited

Hydramatic Source & Supply Limited is recruiting Mechatronics Maintenance Apprentices to learn the installation, testing, fault-finding and maintenance of complex automated industrial equipment by blending electrical, mechanical and control system skills. The role is based primarily at the employer's modern workshop in the Waverley area near the AMRC Training Centre with opportunities to work at customer sites.

Day-to-day duties include product assembly and testing, raising and communicating product issues with managers, assisting with inspection and stores tasks, and ensuring health & safety and quality requirements are met. This is a four-year Level 3 apprenticeship combining on-the-job training with specialist study.

The training provider is The University of Sheffield (AMRC Training Centre); the first year includes an initial block of full-time study at the centre, then weekly day-release for knowledge sessions. On completion you will gain a nationally recognised Level 3 engineering qualification.
