Apply NowWant a taste of conservatoire life? Join Guildhall’s five-day Vocal Summer Course to build technique through one-to-one tuition, master repertoire in Italian, German, French and English, and perform in an end-of-course showcase.
This five-day Vocal Summer Course for Classical Singers is led by faculty from the Vocal and Opera Studies department at Guildhall School of Music & Drama and is designed for developing singers aged 16-23 who want insight into conservatoire-style training. Through a combination of extensive one-to-one tuition and group classes you will prepare repertoire for an informal end-of-course presentation and take part in sessions introducing singing in Italian, German, French and English, text-to-song work, movement and stagecraft, breath and voice anatomy, and audition skills.
The course includes one-to-one voice lessons, vocal coaching, posture/alignment work, drama workshops and repertoire coaching. The course runs in-person at Guildhall School in London from Monday 13 to Friday 17 July 2026 (9:30-17:30 daily).
Applicants must apply via the online form and upload a video recording of two pieces (Grade 6 standard or above). Spaces are limited and participation bursaries are available.
