University of Hertfordshire undergraduate open days let prospective students explore campus life, meet students and staff, and learn about courses and support available. Visitors can tour the College Lane and de Havilland campuses, attend subject sessions and talks, and view guaranteed accommodation options.
The university sends attendees a programme with session timings, a campus map and further information about a week before the event. Bookings are open for the Clearing Mini Open Day on Friday 14 August 2026 (12:00-16:00).
Further Open Days are planned for Saturday 17 October and Saturday 21 November 2026; interested visitors can leave their details to be notified when bookings open. The events include travel support: free parking, free Uno bus travel for registered attendees (voucher emailed before the event) and a mileage reimbursement scheme (up to £100) for eligible UK applicants who are applying for an undergraduate course at Herts.

Location
- Prospective undergraduate applicants (those considering undergraduate study at the University of Hertfordshire)
- To claim mileage reimbursement: must live in the UK
- To claim mileage reimbursement: must be applying for an undergraduate course at Herts
- To claim mileage reimbursement: must attend an open day at the University of Hertfordshire and complete the claim form (link sent after the event)
- Guests: attendees may register up to two guests when booking
Free to attend. Parking is free on both College Lane and de Havilland campuses during open days. Registered attendees receive a free Uno bus travel voucher by email before the event. Eligible attendees may claim mileage reimbursement of up to £100 (paid at 20p per mile) via a claim form sent after the event; the claim form closes 14 days after the event and payments are made by bank transfer.
