University of Derby Experience Day

The University of Derby Experience Day is an on-campus event for prospective undergraduate applicants and those considering applying for September 2026. It gives attendees the chance to explore their chosen course in more detail, meet academic staff, and get a feel for campus life and facilities.

Activities include welcome talks from senior staff, interactive subject sessions or mini projects led by academics, student life panels covering accommodation and finance, a 30-minute skills session on preparing for university study, and guided campus and accommodation tours. Parent-focused talks run alongside student sessions so families can ask course and finance questions.

Events take place at the University of Derby Derby campus (applicants to Chesterfield-site courses are welcome). Booking is via an online form and discounted National Express travel is available for attendees using promo code UOD30.
