The University of Wolverhampton School of Sport Discovery Day is an in-person taster event at the Walsall Campus on 5 June 2026. The day combines practical and classroom sessions to introduce key concepts taught on the School of Sport's undergraduate programmes.
Students are asked to select three of four available sessions and will be assigned to sessions based on their preferences. As elements of the day are practical, attendees should wear clothing suitable for outdoor practical activity.
Planned activities include a Careers in Sport session exploring career pathways and action planning, a practical Sports and Exercise Therapy insight, a PE & School Sport session covering planning, leading and reflection skills for teaching and coaching, and an overview of Sport and Exercise Science to develop knowledge and practical skills for the sport and exercise industry. The event provides an opportunity for A Level and BTEC sport students to learn about courses and post-study career options.
Bookings are via the 'Book Now' link on the event page.
