This is an intensive four-day touch-typing course run by KES Ventures at King Edward's School, Bath, designed to build confidence, speed and accuracy in keyboard skills. The programme uses the Typequick tutor (two course options: Typequick for Students, recommended 11-14 years, and Typequick Professional, recommended 12+).
Pupils are teacher-supported throughout, with progress measured by the Typequick Skill Evaluator at the start and end of the course. Participants retain access to the typing platform for 12 months from the course start.
Sessions run 9:00am-3:00pm with regular breaks and a structured daily schedule (arrival/registration, three course sessions, lunch and short breaks). The course emphasises regular practice and structured lessons to accelerate learning more effectively than occasional practice.
The course is open to local pupils aged 11 and above. Bookings are made online via the KES booking portal. Parents should provide a contact email for each child so login details can be arranged; attendees should read the course Terms & Conditions before booking.
