The AS & A-Level Summer Head-Start Program is an intensive 4-week bridge framework for advanced international school students preparing for Spanish A-Level exams. It is designed to support candidates who have completed Year 12 and are moving into the final Year 13 stretch, with a focus on closing the gap between classroom study and top-level exam performance.
The programme combines early access to specialist resources with live summer masterclasses. From July, paid candidates receive access to AQA or Edexcel exam-board folders containing literary essay matrices, advanced vocabulary banks, and past papers.
The live cohort then runs through August into early September, with daily interactive coaching aimed at improving oral fluency, analytical writing, and exam technique. Across four weekly modules, students work on advanced grammar and syntax, modern history and cultural contexts, spontaneous oral debate and IRP defence, and literary and film analysis.
The overall goal is to build confidence, sharpen precision, and help students approach their final A-Level Spanish exams with stronger structure and control.
