Wondering how D&T can lead to real careers? Join this D&T Association webinar to explore T Levels, industry placements and pathways that build skills, boost your uni and job prospects, and connect you with employers. Take control of your next steps.

This webinar, delivered by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation and colleagues, explores the opportunities that T Levels offer to Design & Technology students after GCSEs. It is aimed at students considering their 16-19 or Sixth Form options and is designed to help them understand how different pathways can support future employment and further study.

The session includes an introduction to T Levels and explains how industry placements can open doors into key sector areas. Attendees will hear about specific pathways that intersect with D&T, including engineering and manufacturing, metal and timber work, textiles, electrotechnical, and graphic design.

There will also be opportunities to ask questions during the webinar, and a range of free resources will be shared for further exploration. The session is also noted as being relevant to colleagues teaching Art and Science subjects, as well as parents.
