Want hands-on experience supporting disabled and neurodivergent families this summer? Join Caudwell Children as a volunteer at Keele — build admin, communication and data skills, boost your UCAS/career profile, and make a real difference in a caring team.

This volunteering role supports Caudwell Children’s family support team at its centre on Keele University Campus. Volunteers help with administration tasks that support disabled and neurodivergent children and their families, contributing to a welcoming and well-organised service environment.

Typical duties include scanning, filing and archiving, emailing families, processing pre-autism assessment paperwork, entering and updating data on the in-house database, answering telephone enquiries, and helping on the clinical reception desk. The role may also involve welcoming families into the centre and supporting day-to-day office activity.

The opportunity runs flexibly between June and September 2026, with a preference for volunteers who can give two consecutive weeks, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm. Training, mentoring and support are provided, and the charity says reasonable adjustments can be made to support applicants and volunteers.

Out-of-pocket travel expenses can also be reimbursed.
