Introduction to Live Sound is a hands-on two-day workshop for young people interested in how live music is brought to life. Participants learn the basics of producing their own live sound and get an introduction to the equipment and techniques used behind the scenes at gigs and events.

The session is designed for school-aged participants with no previous experience required, and all equipment is provided. It forms part of hcmf//’s School’s Out! summer holiday workshops and is delivered at the University of Huddersfield, with a hot lunch included for all places.
