Want a head start on uni? Join Queen Mary Futures — a four-week after-school access programme at Mile End that helps eligible Year 12 or Level 3 students from state schools build skills, broaden your network and prepare for university study.

Deadline in 17 days

Queen Mary Futures is a four-week after-school access programme at Queen Mary University of London's Mile End campus. It is designed for talented students who are under-represented in higher education and want to broaden their network, knowledge and skills in preparation for university-level study.

The programme is aimed at eligible Year 12 students, or first-year Level 3 students at state-funded UK schools or colleges, who also meet Queen Mary's widening participation criteria. Participants can explore different subject strands and get a taste of undergraduate study through academic sessions, discussion and subject-specific activities.

Subject strands cover areas such as computer science and AI, biological and behavioural sciences, chemical sciences, economics and finance, digital media and communications, history and sociology, mathematical and physical sciences, and law. Sessions are scheduled in person at Queen Mary's East London campuses, and some may be recorded for on-demand viewing by participants.
