Law subject talk

The University of Sheffield’s Law subject talk is part of its undergraduate open day subject talks and is designed for prospective students who want to find out more about studying law at Sheffield. The Law session is held in Richard Roberts Auditorium and is one of three scheduled Law talks on the day, giving visitors multiple chances to attend the session that best fits their visit.

The talk is the fixed part of the open day booking, so visitors choose it in advance when arranging their open day place. It is a chance to hear more about the Law course, what studying the subject involves, and how the university presents the department to prospective undergraduates.

Booked visitors are seated first, and any remaining places may then be offered to other attendees. After each talk, there are optional student-led tours of the Law School building. These tours last around 30 minutes, depart from the Law student subject exhibition stand, and are signed up for at the Law stand on the day.
