Outschool: The Teen Broadcast Studio: Find Your Voice, Build Your Podcast & Portfolio!

The Teen Broadcast Studio is a live online class for young people who want to build confidence, develop their voice, and explore podcasting. Learners are guided through impromptu speaking, vocal technique, diction, creative scriptwriting, and persuasive communication in a supportive small-group setting.

By the end of the course, students will have practical skills they can use to launch their own podcast and create a portfolio of creative work that showcases what they can do. The class is designed for ages 13-16 and is taught in a live video format with small groups of 2-6 learners.

The course runs once a week over eight weeks, with assignments included and about one hour of outside-class work per week. It also highlights support for learners with anxiety and ADHD, and no external apps or websites beyond standard Outschool tools are required.
