Veritas AI Deep Dive: AI + Medicine is a specialist online programme for high school students who already have AI Scholars experience or prior Python knowledge. Working in small groups with mentors, students use real public clinical datasets to explore how machine learning can support healthcare, with a focus on diagnosis, medical imaging, genomics and other real-world applications.
The programme runs for 10 sessions of 2. 5 hours over 10 weeks, delivered fully online via Zoom at a 5:1 student-to-mentor ratio. Students leave with practical experience building models that classify disease indicators, work on sharpening and interpreting medical scans, and receive a personalised mentor evaluation.
Successful participants may also be eligible for post-baccalaureate credit through University of California, San Diego Extended Studies.

- Students in grades 9-12.
- Must have completed AI Scholars or have prior Python experience.
- Python experience is required for the Deep Dive track.
- Need-based financial aid is available for families making less than $60,000 per year (US applicants) or 20 lakh rupees per year (Indian or non-US applicants).

The Deep Dive program costs $2,690. Need-based financial aid is available up to 100% and can be requested in the application form. Financial aid is currently available for AI Scholars, Deep Dive Programs, and AI Trailblazers Programs.
