Start your career in accountancy with The National Lottery Community Fund and Kaplan by joining as an AAT Finance Apprentice. You will work towards an AAT Level 2 qualification while carrying out operational finance tasks such as handling invoices, payments and credit notes, posting journals and producing financial reports.

The apprenticeship starts on Monday 12 January 2026, runs for 1 year 3 months, and is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

On the job you will help ensure grant holders and suppliers receive timely payments, maintain finance system records, produce finance reports and assist with regular finance process reviews. Customer service is a key part of the role as you will work with internal colleagues and external customers to ensure financial obligations are understood and recorded accurately.

Training is delivered in partnership with the training provider KAPLAN FINANCIAL LIMITED; training may be classroom or remote and apprentices must dedicate 20% of their time to off-the-job learning.

Essential entry requirements are GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 9-4.
