Moore Kingston Smith's Accountancy Apprenticeship (AAT) cohort starting March 2026 offers a two-year structured training contract combining paid work and formal study. As a Level 4 apprenticeship you will gain hands-on experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance and business advisory while studying towards the Level 3 and Level 4 AAT qualifications.

The role involves client-facing work across sectors including professional practices, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, real estate and technology.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, processing journal adjustments, drafting corporation tax computations, maintaining working papers and using accounting and tax software. You will work as part of teams delivering year-end compliance and advisory projects, attend client offices, and take increasing ownership of client work as you develop.

The firm provides in-person tuition blocks, paid study leave, a buddy and training manager support, and regular development reviews.

Applicants must have, or be on track for, 112 UCAS points (three A-Levels or equivalent) and be permitted to work in the UK for at least two years from the start date. The role is based in Moore Kingston Smith's City, West End (London) or St Albans offices and offers clear progression routes including consideration for the ACA pathway after completion and experience.
