Accounts Assistant Apprentice

Start your career in accounting with this Level 3 Accounts Assistant apprenticeship based in London. The role involves hands-on accounting tasks including bookkeeping using QuickBooks and Sage, VAT and tax returns, statutory accounts preparation, payroll management and reconciliations.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours per week) at 333 Edgware Road, The Hyde, London, NW9 6TD, and the apprenticeship includes off-the-job training delivered by the training provider First Rung Limited.

The training pathway covers AAT examinations, Level 2 Bookkeeping and a Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification and includes modules on double-entry bookkeeping, financial reporting, AML, data protection and use of accounting software. Essential requirements state GCSE Maths (grade 4) with GCSE English (grade 4) desirable.
