Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship (Euro Ashfords)

This Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship at Euro Ashfords is a hands-on route into a finance and accounting career based in Harrow (100 College Road, HA1 1BQ). The role is full time (Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00, 35 hours/week), starts Monday 24 November 2025, runs for 1 year 6 months and offers a first-year wage of £13,741 (apprentice/NMW rules).

You will learn on the job doing bookkeeping, client record maintenance (Excel and Sage), sales and purchase invoice controls, receipts and payment analysis, bank and VAT reconciliations, payroll preparation and general administration supporting senior accountants. Off-the-job training is provided by FIRST RUNG LIMITED.

The apprenticeship follows the Level 3 (AAT) Assistant Accountant standard, leading to AAT Level 3/Advanced Diploma qualifications and functional skills in English if required.

Desirable entry requirements include GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (grade 4). The employer notes that, depending on your qualifications and experience, you could be offered a different apprenticeship.
