Join Bakersfield Medical Centre as an Administration Apprentice and train to provide reception and administrative support in a busy GP surgery. You will handle patient enquiries, book and cancel appointments, maintain accurate records, manage mail and prescription processes, and use computer systems including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Typical duties include signposting patients, supporting internal communications, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with practice policies.

The apprenticeship combines on-the-job learning with off-the-job training delivered by ACCESS TRAINING (EAST MIDLANDS) LTD. You will study for a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification, spend 37 hours per week working (with shift patterns that may include weekends), and complete 20% off-the-job training.

The role offers practical experience in office systems, data entry and basic project work, with progression opportunities to an Administrator role within the surgery on successful completion.

This apprenticeship starts on 3 December 2025 at 141 Oakdale Road, Nottingham (NG3 7EJ). There is one position available.
