This is an on-the-job Early Years Educator (Level 3) apprenticeship at First Steps Nursery, delivering high standards of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5. You will carry out day-to-day nursery duties, contribute to activity programmes, support parents and colleagues, and ensure the setting meets Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.

The apprenticeship includes specialist training delivered by Rochdale Training Association Limited leading to the Early Years Educator (Level 3) qualification. Training time away from the workplace is included; course content covers safeguarding, health and safety, risk assessment, communication with professionals, planning and assessment, SEND/EAL support, and creating inclusive child-centred environments.

The role is based at Newall Street, Littleborough (OL15 9DL). The post requires working Monday-Friday with typical hours between 7:30am and 6:00pm (minimum 45 hours/week). The apprenticeship lasts 1 year 6 months and may lead to a full-time position on completion.

You'll Earn

£17,667 per year

Pay & Benefits

£17,667 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices £7.55 for a new apprentice. Then it will be the salary required for age group 12.21 for 21 and over 18-20 £10 per hour 16-18 £7.55 per hour
