Teens in AI’s AI4Good Incubator is a five-day virtual bootcamp for teens aged 13-18 that challenges teams to create technology projects inspired by climate-related United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Participants work in teams, receive industry expert mentoring and masterclasses, and pitch their projects to senior leaders for feedback and prizes.
Across the programme attendees will learn core AI and coding principles, responsible AI practices, design thinking, and teamwork skills while developing a real project focused on climate action. The course is project-based and designed for all skill levels; participants receive a Certificate of Completion and access to a global community of peers and instructors.
The flagship programme has a limited capacity (around 50 participants) to keep sessions boutique and highly engaged. The bootcamp is delivered virtually (host location: United Kingdom; teens join globally) and runs as a full-day programme.
Required tools include a laptop/computer and internet access; Google Colab is used in sessions. Grants are available for eligible applicants to reduce the cost.
