Airbus Aerospace Engineering Virtual Work Experience

Airbus, working with Springpod, offers a free virtual work experience programme that gives students a behind-the-scenes look at aerospace engineering and the wider world of Airbus. It is designed to be completed online, at your own pace, and can be dipped into whenever it suits you.

The experience includes videos, activities and quizzes, plus real-world tasks and projects designed by Airbus. You’ll hear from Airbus employees, explore practical engineering skills, and learn how different parts of the business work together.

The modules also introduce you to roles across aircraft manufacturing, cyber security, fuel chemistry, helicopter design and early-career pathways.

Each module is designed to be bite-sized, taking about an hour to complete. You can complete one or all of them, and you’ll receive a digital certificate once each sprint is finished. It is intended to build practical insight, workplace skills and CV-ready experience for students interested in engineering and related careers.
