Airbus Defence & Space is recruiting a Service Delivery Management Degree Apprentice to join the Cyber Security Division at its Newport base starting September 2026. This is a paid degree apprenticeship combining on-the-job training at Airbus with academic study at Swansea University, leading to a BSc (Hons) in Applied Business Management.
The role supports delivery of high-grade cryptographic and key management systems for defence and national infrastructure and involves learning ITIL-aligned service delivery practices.
As an apprentice you will work alongside experienced managers and engineers on the Ectocryp and CertSecure product suites, receiving hands-on training in cryptographic development and service management. Core skills taught include the ITIL framework, service level, incident/problem and change management, supplier and customer management, communication and leadership, and relevant supporting technologies.
The position is based in Newport, South Wales and requires UK security clearance.
