Explore seven modules covering underwriting, claims, data, engineering, pricing, finance, project management and early-career pathways. Work through recorded talks, quizzes and scenario-based tasks at your own pace, then earn a certificate of completion.

This virtual work experience programme with Allianz introduces students to the insurance industry and the wide range of careers available within it. It is designed to help you explore how a major global insurer operates, while building an understanding of the skills and pathways that can lead into the sector.

Across seven modules, you will be welcomed to Allianz and the wider insurance world, then move through topics including underwriting, claims and data, engineering, pricing and finance, project and change management, early careers and pathways, and employability. The programme combines pre-recorded talks from industry professionals with activities, short quizzes and scenario-based tasks, helping you learn about the day-to-day work involved and the opportunities available.

The experience is self-paced and fully online, with live talks available as recordings if you cannot attend in person. It is intended to give you a practical introduction to the industry, support your career thinking, and help you build confidence with skills such as communication, problem-solving and interview preparation.

A certificate of completion is available once you finish the programme.
