Amazon: On Cloud Nine - Cloud Computing Work Experience

This virtual work experience with Amazon Future Engineers introduces cloud computing and the role of AWS in powering everyday digital services. You’ll explore how Amazon builds and manages highly secure data centres, scalable networks and cloud solutions that support millions of users and businesses around the world.

The programme includes a mix of short learning modules and practical activities. You’ll look at how physical hardware and cloud systems work together, learn about careers such as Solutions Architect, Cyber Security specialist and Data Centre roles, and practise shaping a pitch for a new client using AWS as an example.

It also develops wider digital skills, including AI literacy, research and cyber security awareness, and comes with a certificate of completion when finished.
