Diagnose a conveyor-belt malfunction as a Junior Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Technician in this virtual programme. Explore robotics, cyber security and the systems connecting fulfilment centres, AWS and app development, then earn a certificate of completion.

Amazon: Innovation in Motion - Robotics & Engineering Work Experience is a virtual programme with Amazon Future Engineers that introduces students to the engineering systems behind one of the world’s biggest companies. It explores how physical hardware, automated systems and digital infrastructure work together across fulfilment centres, AWS and app development, giving a broad view of modern STEM careers.

You’ll work through modules covering Amazon’s background, robotics and engineering principles, and the careers that sit behind the technology. Activities include hands-on problem-solving, such as diagnosing a conveyor belt malfunction as a Junior Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Technician, alongside learning about cyber security, robotics field engineering and the role of automated systems in safe, efficient workplaces.

The programme also helps you look ahead to early careers routes after school and builds practical digital skills, including AI literacy, data analysis and cyber security awareness. It is an on-demand experience with around 6 to 8 hours of content, and students can complete the work at their own pace within the programme window.

A certificate of completion is awarded when the programme is finished.
