Want to keep people safe while building a career? Join Amazon’s WHS Apprenticeship to learn risk assessment, safety audits and emergency response on-site, gain Level 3 SHE Technician accreditation, and connect with industry experience that boosts your uni or career prospects.

Join Amazon as a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Apprentice and gain hands-on experience improving workplace safety and wellbeing across operational sites. You will learn to identify risks, conduct risk assessments and safety audits, use data to identify trends, support emergency response and engage employees in safety initiatives.

The programme combines on-site learning, online training and classroom sessions while you work toward a nationally recognised Level 3 SHE Technician apprenticeship and TechIOSH accreditation. The apprenticeship runs for 20 months, with a working pattern of 40 hours per week (shift work including evenings, weekends and nights) at a fulfilment centre, delivery station, or corporate function.

Applications are submitted online and include an online assessment, games-based assessment, video interview and a virtual/onsite assessment centre. Successful candidates will be employed by Amazon for the duration of the apprenticeship and supported by recruitment teams and training providers through onboarding and background checks.
