Explore how cloud computing stores, moves and manages data through short videos and interactive activities.

In this virtual career tour, Amazon Web Services (AWS) takes students behind the scenes of cloud computing to show how the cloud stores, moves and manages data for the digital services people use every day. Through short videos and interactive activities, you’ll explore the technology, teams and tools that keep cloud services running, and learn how different roles contribute to that system.

The experience covers several key areas, including how cloud computing works, how data is protected, and how systems stay secure. You’ll also hear from AWS professionals working in roles such as data centre operations, network engineering, cyber security and data centre engineering, giving you a practical look at the kinds of jobs involved in this field.

The programme also touches on sustainability, showing how AWS is improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact through better cooling systems, recycled water and renewable energy. Along the way, quizzes and bite-sized content help you test your knowledge and think about whether a future in technology, problem-solving or sustainability could be right for you.
