A touring theatre production from the Ancient Peace Studies Network at the University of St Andrews and theatre company NMT Automatics, Long After the Labyrinth is a new play inspired by ancient myth and the story of the lost Jews of Crete. It follows Rena Depas as she navigates trauma, loss and survival in the aftermath of conflict, using text, movement and shadow-play to create an epic stage experience.
The production explores post-conflict recovery and peacebuilding through a classical lens, drawing on the myth of the Minotaur and the labyrinth of Knossos. Some performances are followed by a Q&A with the creative team, and the tour also includes peace storytelling workshops at selected venues.
The page gives booking links for the performances and notes that enquiries can be made by email.
