Curious how uni could fit your brain? Explore ARU’s Neurodiversity Day for calm, supportive campus visits—chat with student ambassadors, meet the Disability and Dyslexia team, and tour student support spaces. Build confidence, discover tailored support and see university life at your own pace.

Neurodiversity Day is an inclusive campus visit opportunity for pupils in Year 10 to Year 13. It is designed to offer a calm, friendly and supportive environment where young people can explore university life at ARU at a pace that suits them.

During the visit, pupils can speak with Student Ambassadors about student life, hear from the Disability and Dyslexia team about the support available for wellbeing and study, and take part in a campus tour that includes student support areas. Participation is kept flexible, with optional input and interaction throughout the day so that visitors can engage in a way that feels comfortable for them.

The day is open to all pupils, but booking is prioritised for those with SEND, those who are neurodiverse, or those who would benefit from smaller group visits. Group sizes are kept small to help create a comfortable and welcoming experience.
