Animated Women UK & Disney UK & Ireland Mentorship Programme

Animated Women UK has partnered with Disney UK & Ireland to create an online mentoring programme for women in the animation and VFX industries. The initiative connects aspiring talent with women currently working in these fields, helping participants learn from real industry experience and build confidence in their next career steps.

For mentees, the programme offers practical advice, insight into day-to-day life in animation and VFX, help with building a career plan, and the chance to make useful industry connections. The mentoring takes place online, so it can fit around school, study or work schedules and can be accessed anytime, anywhere.

For mentors, the programme provides a way to support the next generation of women in creative industries, share professional knowledge, and receive training on how to guide mentees effectively. Prospela also offers ongoing support throughout the mentoring experience.

The initiative is free for AWUK members.
