This two-hour in-person creative writing workshop focuses on the idea of middles, exploring the centre of a piece both thematically and structurally. It is designed to help participants think about what happens in the middle of a poem, short story, essay or novel, and how that central section can shape the overall impact of the writing.
The session will consider how writers begin, continue and finish a project, with practical discussion and creative exercises that lead into new writing. It is suitable for all writers, whether they are just starting out or already have more experience and want to develop their craft further.
