Apprentice Accounts Assistant Technician

Join Price Davis in Cheltenham as an Apprentice Accounts Assistant Technician working alongside the accounting team to gain hands-on experience in financial administration, bookkeeping and accounting procedures. The role starts Monday 5 January 2026, runs for 1 year 3 months and pays £12,090 a year (£7.

75 per hour).

You will assist with transactional record-keeping, prepare and process financial documents, maintain up-to-date records, communicate with clients and learn to use accounting software. Training is delivered by Gloucestershire College and includes AAT Level 2 study (college delivery half a day per week or blended delivery), giving you a recognised vocational qualification.

Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (or equivalent). The apprenticeship is predominantly workplace-based (30 hours per week; typical hours 9:30-15:30) with time for specialist training.
