Apprentice Autocare Technician (36300)

S Bolz Ltd in Moston is offering a 2. 5-year Level 2 Autocare Technician apprenticeship based at their garage in Manchester. You will work on the job in a busy independent garage environment, learning practical vehicle maintenance and repair tasks while earning a wage of £15,704 for the first year (with possible increases depending on age).

Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week).

The apprenticeship includes off-the-job training delivered by The Growth Company Limited and covers topics such as vehicle safety inspections, steering and suspension, braking systems, battery and charging systems, exhaust and air-conditioning systems, tyre fitting and balancing, four-wheel geometry, hybrid/electric vehicle safety procedures, use of diagnostic equipment, customer service principles, and basic consumer and health & safety legislation.

Functional Skills in English and maths will be completed if required.

The role offers full training and support from the employer and training provider, with possible progression to a Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician apprenticeship or to further roles within the company. Applicants apply via GOV.
