TC Brickwork SW Ltd is recruiting an Apprentice Bricklayer to work on construction projects in and around Plymouth. You will be employed on-site and learn on the job, gaining practical skills such as labouring, setting out work areas, preparing mortar, using hand tools, measuring and cutting materials, and applying joint finishes.
The apprenticeship includes supervision on site and hands-on experience across projects in Plymouth, Callington, Truro and Moretonhampstead.
The apprenticeship includes day-release training with SKILLS TO GROUP LIMITED (Skills Group). The training course is Bricklayer (level 2) and requires attendance at the Skills Group training centre one day per week, with regular assessor visits every six to eight weeks.
You will work 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) and complete additional assessments including the Construction Skills Health, Safety and Environment (CSCS) test.
The role starts on Saturday 22 November 2025 and runs for approximately 2 years 3 months. The advertised first-year wage is £15,704 (may increase depending on age) with overtime paid at the applicable minimum wage.

£15,704 per year
£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices Any overtime above the 40 hours per week, will be paid at the appropriate national minimum wage depending on age.
