Cheadle Hulme School is recruiting an Apprentice HR Business Partner to join its HR team. You will work on-site at Cheadle Hulme School, supporting recruitment, onboarding, wellbeing, compliance and staff experience across academic and professional services.

The role is intended for someone with existing HR or employee-relations interest or experience who wants to develop into an HR Business Partner role.

As an apprentice you will complete the CIPD Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship (HR Business Partner pathway) delivered by The Growth Company. The role is full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00; 38 hours per week) and starts on 19 January 2026.

Training includes protected time away from work to study, with mentoring and day-to-day supervision from the Head of HR and support from the training provider.

Typical duties include supporting recruitment and safer recruitment compliance, acting as a first point of contact for HR queries, maintaining HR systems and data, supporting absence and performance processes, and contributing to HR reporting and projects. The apprenticeship offers progression opportunities within the school or the wider HR sector.
