Apprentice Chartered Accountant

This is a three-year Apprentice Chartered Accountant role based in Wickford, Essex. You will spend most of your time working on the job gaining hands-on experience preparing payrolls, liaising with clients, preparing correspondence for agencies such as Companies House and HMRC, analysing client income and expenditure using Excel, preparing VAT returns and submitting them to HMRC.

The apprenticeship includes day release for specialist training and study towards professional accountancy qualifications.

The apprenticeship starts on 2 January 2026. Training is delivered by FIRST INTUITION CHELMSFORD LIMITED with day release for AAT and study for ACCA/ICAEW. The apprenticeship is intended to progress to Level 4 AAT and then onto full professional qualification as ACCA or ICAEW.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week).
