Greene King is recruiting Apprentice Chefs to join the kitchen team at the Hungry Horse / Greene King site in Norwich (1 The Lastings, Sandy Lane, NR4 6EF). As an Apprentice Chef you will learn on the job preparing, cooking and presenting food to business standards, maintaining hygiene and safety, communicating with your team and supporting service delivery during fast-paced shifts.
The apprenticeship is a 15-month Production Chef (Level 2) programme delivered with LIFETIME TRAINING GROUP LIMITED. The programme includes a mixture of on- and off-the-job training, workshops and webinars, four Chef Academy masterclasses, periodic progress reviews every 12 weeks, and the opportunity to gain Functional Skills in English and maths if not already held.
Working hours are 25-40 hours per week (shift work including bank holidays, evenings and weekends) with an indicated example of 25 hours per week.
